Photo Diary: Vacation

So you guys have probably been wondering where I have been!
I haven't posted in awhile cause I was went on a trip to New York!

New York was incredibly hot and humid...but I loved all the sights and foods!
Here are some pictures that I took from my trip!

1. Taking a trip on the Staten Island Ferry.
2. You can't possibly go to New York and not have a slice of pizza!
3. Chelsea Market. Very disappointing though...
4. If you are an art junkie..you could spend the rest of your life at the Met.
5. Manhattan skyline.

Anyway here are some photos from..not sure how long ago!

1. This Forever 21 romper was like $10. Not a fan of the jumpsuit/romper trend. Thought it looked silly on me.
2. Bulldog puppies! SOOO adorable! I love their wrinkley skin :)
3. Nail of the week. Its OPI's Suzy Says Feng Shui!
4. I love how photo apps can make something like eating Pinkberry look so.....special.
5. Handmade Chan Luu inspired bracelet! Yes I made it myself! It was pretty easy and fast. I will do a post on this someday :)

1. Playing with a new camera app :) it makes the lighting very flattering don't you think?

2. Essie is now being sold at CVS! I was really excited! There are SOOO many choices! I picked up the color Sew Psyched. 

3. Went to H&M and fell in love with this red skirt! Its high waisted and nice and long. Comes with the belt!

4. I showed you the blue nail polish I have been rocking from Forever21...but now I layered Sinful Color's Green Ocean on top! Its a gorgeous flakie polish that has an effect similar to cellophane.

How has everyone's week been going?

I had a great day yesterday to end what has been a crazy week at work. 

Its always the small things that can change everything.

Photo Diary 4

Its been TOO long since I've posted something...so I figured I might as well do a photo update of my trip so far :)

1. If you follow kpop at all..then you will know the group Big Bang. I spotted member TOP at LAX! He's the one with the hat and the BRIGHT yellow/bleached hair. I thought he dressed horribly...
2. Koreans seem to have more of an obsession with coffee than Parisians or Italians. Proof is in how huge this Coffee Bean is. It was 3 stories tall....
3. Adorable dog I met in the countryside! He followed me around and whenever I bent down to pet him he wanted a belly rub.
4. Snow in the city is SO dirty (no one ever told me it'd be yucky). The snow in the countryside is gorgeous though..even if it is half melted.
5. Cakes galoreeee! Super expensive too! Almost $10 a slice. I complain when its over $4....
6. I wish every hotel looked this chic. I could stand under that crystal thing and stare at it forever.....


I still have a few more days here in Korea before I head back so I'll try to take/post more pictures :)

If you guys didn't know already, I am leaving for Seoul, South Korea in a few days.
I will definitely keep posting..but it won't be my usual beauty reviews. It'll most likely be photo diaries, hauls, fashion, etc.

1. This is apparently considered art... Frankly its really creepy and I do not see anything artistic about it.
2. When I see clothes like this I immediately think that I was born in the wrong era. Style like this just doesn't exist anymore. Gosh I wish I lived in the 50s.....
3. These street lamps remind me of Paris. They are from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and if you are a fellow Angeleno..you definitely have seen these.
4. Tried an amazing twist of the uber popular red velvet cake: BLUE VELVET CAKE! It features blueberries :) and it isn't a reallllll red velvet (or blue velvet in this case) cake unless it has cream cheese frosting.

This weekend I took a teeny tiny vacation to Las Vegas!
Decided to make a photo diary out of the pictures I took this weekend.

I love going to Vegas :). Its just a drive away from LA.
I visited the newest hotel Cosmopolitan and it is SUPER swanky!
I got my dress at H&M for only $7! I was soooo excited. I love the one shoulder detail and how Greek goddess like it is.
The sandwich is from Canter's Deli (theres one in LA too!). Doesn't it look absolutely delicious???
Also, if you are fans of the show Pawn Stars you will INSTANTLY recognize the store.
And lastly....sunsets are so beautiful.

Going to start doing this thing where I post random pictures from my week that I collect.

1. Went whale watching around the Newport/Balboa island. The houses along the waterfront were to die for!
2. DSW had these really cute Poetic License shoes! The wedge heel was clear lucite in different colors!! Sadly, they didn't have my size.
3. This particular Forever 21 I went to used to be a Saks 5th.
4. My dog loves trees to much :(
5. I am not a hipster. Let me just get that out in the open now! But I love these Toms I got over the holidays. Love is the new black....
