May Birchbox!

Sorry ladies for not posting recently. My usual camera was borrowed and I haven't gotten it back yet...but today was just the perfect opportunity to post so I had no choice but to use another camera.

Anyway, my May Birchbox came in the mail today! Yay!

To give you the FULL experience I took pictures of the unveiling!

This is how the box arrives.

Open it up and its the ACTUAL Birchbox! Yay.

Each Birchbox has a theme and this one is Mother's Day....even though it already passed...

 

What's in my box?

Always nicely wrapped in tissue. I always reuse the tissue too! Hehe.

Am I happy with this month's Birchbox? Unfortunately no!!!
I was browsing through other blogs to see what they got and most had gotten a FULL SIZED Stila eyeshadow!
What did I get in place of it? A sample sized lip product -____- Kind of lame.
I'm also over the perfume samples. I'm going to ask them to stop including those in my box.
Anyway...other than that I guess I'm happy. I'll list all the products below:

April Birchbox!

Hello lovely readers :)

So today I want to do another Birchbox update! I did get a Birchbox in March that I did not blog about.
This is because I wasn't impressed with what was in it (it had toothpaste for crying out loud!).
This Birchbox, however, made me verrrry happy!

I get my Birchbox pretty late. They ship from NY and I'm allll the way in Cali.
Usually I look at other blogs to see what's in them. When I saw other blogs had gotten a mini Zoya polish I freaked out! I loveeee polishes!


 

What came in the box?
1. Juicy Beauty Green Apple Peel.
2. LIV GRN perfume. Smells nice! And I'm usually not a perfume kinda gal.
3. Lavanila Body Butter. HUGE size!
4. Zoya polish in Jules. I saw other bloggers got Caitlin which is a dusty blue. I got Jules. Love it anyway :)
5. Seed paper. You plant it and flowers grow! Pretty cool!


So like I said...I'm super happy with this Birchbox!
Its $10 a month to get a box full of beauty samples every month. I recommend it!

January Birchbox

Two post Tuesday!

I have been a bad girl and posted in 4 days so I will post 2 in 1 day to make up for it.

So today I will be talking about what came inside my January Birchbox!
Now I posted up my December Birchbox previously...but a quick recap of what Birchbox is in case you don't want to look for the other post:
Birchbox is a beauty subscription. Every month you get a box full of hand picked samples of beauty items. They are deluxe samples so they won't last you just 1 try. They feature popular items or up and coming beauty items. This is for you to try out beauty items before you like it...
 

Can you tell how happy I am to see my box? I love getting snail mail!

I love that Birchbox pays attention to detail. For example, every box I have received has been nicely wrapped in tissue. Its small things like that that make me happy.

So rundown of the items!
1. Zhena's Gypsy Tea in Coconut Chai (the big jar in the picture): I'm surprised to see tea in my box! Haha. It's a welcome addition nonetheless. I'm a tea drinker not a coffee drinker.
2. Ahava Nourishing Hand Cream: This is a pretty large sample coming in at 1.5 fl oz.
3. Erno Laszlo Bllue Firmarine Treatment Bar (the little blue thing being covered by the big jar in the picture): It is a clarifying soap. I'm curious to try this....
4. Oscar Biandi Jasmine Hair Serum: It apparently will banish frizz and add gloss/moisture. Oscar Biandi is pretty expensive so I'm glad to get a sample of this first.
5. myfaceworks Sheet Mask: I'm used to face sheets being made by Asian cosmetic companies. I can't wait to try this one! I love face masks! They are so easy to use and very relaxing!

Birchbox costs $10 a month. If I use any of these products I will write a review here of course :)
