Review: Laneige Pore Trouble Skin Refiner

Living in LA has its up and downs.
Sure my city is very polluted, has way too much traffic, and has that California laid back energy that sometimes drives me absolutely crazy.
Los Angeles has its upsides too and they far outweigh the bad to me.
Being in Los Angeles opens a LOT of doors to me beauty wise because the city is just so diverse.
So on a quick trip to a cosmetic store in Koreatown left me walking away with a new toner.
Laneige is a well known beauty brand in the Asian market, but all the other continents are completely unaware of its existence.
After my giant bottle of Clinique toner ran out..I was looking for a change.
Laneige has tons of various lines for each type of skin. There's pore trouble, whitening, wrinkles, etc.
I chose to purchase from the pore trouble line. It seems to best match my skin out of the other lines.

The name actually sounds VERY scary best rest assured..its just a plain 'ol toner!

It comes in a great glass-like bottle. I'm hoping its not REALLY made of glass cause if this sucker falls I will be terrified!
The bottle itself is VERY heavy for a make-up bottle. I love the construction though. I am definitely going to save this bottle once I'm done.
The bottle is 5.4 fl. oz and costs $30. Pretty steep I know.
I was just about to TOTALLY regret my purchase when the sales lady threw in a BIG surprise!

I love free samples. Don't you?

Yes! FREE samples! Not just one...but FOUR!
This is why I love shopping at Asian places. Unlike Sephora, department stores, and high end make-up boutiques...you get amazing free samples ALL year round and practically with ANY purchase. No minimum!
My free samples included: a makeup remover, makeup base, foundation, and foaming cleanser.

Back to the toner though...
It has been about 2 months since I have started using it and well...its a thumbs down for me.
I thought that since it was from the pore trouble line that it would help clean my pores more, make it less visible, and help reduce my break outs...but it hasn't done that.
Sure it makes my skin feel very clean and refreshed, but any drug store toner can do that at a fraction of the cost.

So final verdict? I would not buy this toner again.

Cheers!
