Shoe Inspired

If you follow me on twitter you will already know two things:
1) I'm back from my mini vacation from Korea
2) I'm veryyy sick right now :(

I have literally been lying in bed allll day and I haven't eaten normal food in almost 3 days.

Anyway, while I was in Korea I did get to do a little bit of shopping.
There was one thing in particular I did want to buy: a certain pair of shoes.

I had first heard/seen them on youtube guru Michelle Phan.
They were basically sneakers but with wedges.
They are basically knockoffs of these Ash sneaker wedges:

They are prices at $130 which is kinda pricey. Michelle Phan said she bought them off of eBay.

They have a bunch of different styles, colors, and wedge height.
The shipping price (most of them at $15 and above) was too much for me though. So instead..I noticed that most of these shoes were shipping from Korea so I decided to buy a pair while I was there.

 

I bought mine for roughly $20 from a shoe vendor off the street.

My shoes are slightly different in that they are not as tall. I'm 5'7" already..and I didn't want to be crazy tall in like 4" sneakers...so I opted for the shorter version.

I like how the sneaker has velcro straps making it easy to put on.

Although these sneakers are slightly "fob" style...I still like them a lot.
I hardly ever wear sneakers (I also never really wear just t-shirt&jeans) but for these I make an exception :)
