L'oreal Infallible in Beyonce Red

Red lips is something that's never going to go out of style.
Its an old trick to have red lips and cat eyes. Me-ow!

If you are like me though..you are scared of red lips because its not "safe" and there is a lot that could go wrong!

Enter L'oreal Infallible lipsticks. They are revolutionary guys!

So what makes this lipstick so special?
First...its the application process/formula.

If you can see in this picture this lipstick is not like others. There is actually a 2 step application process. One side holds the color (its like liquid lipstick) and the other side has like a chapstick like applicator.
The silver packaging reminds me of an ipod. It smudges a lot but it can double as a mirror! Ha ha. Plus that is Beyonce's signature making you feel really special!

So the first step is to apply color. Its like putting on lip gloss or a liquid lipstick. The color payoff is SUPER intense!!! I would highly recommend avoiding using fingers at ALL COST!

Also, a little goes a long way folks so wipe off any excess in the tube first!
This application will take getting used to. I had trouble with applying the lipstick perfectly. I kept getting some on my teeth and out of my normal lip shape...but no fear! A q-tip can help a lot!

So once you have applied the color you will get a nice matte red shade.
Its not a dark red...more of a fire engine/brick red. There's a hint of orange in my opinion. To be honest..when I first saw the shade on me I got SUPER scared fast!
I was worried it was TOO bright for my skin tone. Too much orange?
I thought it was making me look like a clown :(

Anyway, the second step in the application process is to use the chapstick like applicator.
You MUST do this after waiting 2 mins for the color to dry!!!

This is not like chapstick by any means!! According to the directions...it seals in the color and makes your lips look SUPER glossy!
To me its like a solid version of lipgloss.

This is the final look.
After you properly follow the directions..your lipstick will literally NOT budge!
Kissing? Eating? Drinking? ALL NOT A PROBLEM! This lipstick will literally stick to your lips!
I personally think the color lasts about 5 hours (which is a long time)!

I said before that I was scared of the color...but after wearing it for the whole day I actually love it.
I want to wear it with a great black dress or something. Its a breath of fresh air to me.
As for the actual lipstick? I love how pigmented it is and long wearing.
Even high end brands don't last this long!

I no longer have to worry about getting my lipstick stuck on my teeth or smudging on my face!
I can drink coffee without leaving that lip mark!

In addition to this shade I bought 2 others from the line (pinks) cause I think the formula is wonderful!
So if you are looking for a great lipstick that lasts all day I seriously suggest this one!
