New Year New Outfit

The New Year always calls for some resolutions you will almost always abandon after 2-3 months.
My resolution this year is to be more fashion forward with my outfit choices.
This means mixing prints, wearing heels, wearing colors I'm afraid of....etc etc.


So when I got dressed for the New Year, this is what I came up with:

Top, tights, shoes: Korea Navy Jacket: Forever 21 leopard print scarf: Saks 5th

Just looking at it, I think it looks very simple. But the devil is in the details!
I mixed a lot of prints believe it or not. My scarf is leopard print, my tights are floral print, and my shirt is striped.

I bought this jacket on a recent online trip to Forever 21 and fell in love with its simplicity.
Even though its so simple, I have nothing like it in my closet.

I also am in love with textured/printed tights.
Black tights are just SO boring! To spruce up an outfit I'll add tights with either color or a print.
