Destiny & Miu Miu

Moving on...do you guys believe in destiny? It is a tricky subject I agree...but somehow events occur that make me believe things were just..meant to be.
For a long time now...I have been contemplating stepping into the designer shoe world (I blame Tiffany from I am Style-ish and her GORGEOUS shoe collection!). However the price tag has always been the main drawback.

So today I was sitting in my room and I was debating whether or not to go shopping.
I usually don't go shopping because 1) I don't want to spend money..and going to the mall will only make me want to buy things and 2) I was a little lazy.
But I decided to go out anyway cause I had to go to the bank.
Anyway...I won't drag this little story further but I went to Nordstrom Rack and instantly was hit with IMMENSE luck as I saw these shoes...

That's right. Miu Mius at Nordstrom Rack! Even before I wanted to see they were my size or not..I checked out the price first: $79.90!!!!!

That's an AMAZING deal because Miu Miu shoes typically run over $300. These I think were $495 retail.
WOW.
Best part? They were my size. Well...not really they were a .5 too small but because these are sandals I can get away with the fact that they are a little too small.
I tried them on and then RAN to the cashier. I kind of felt like Charlie with a golden ticket.

 

So for $80 are these shoes worth it? Heck yes! And I'm not just talking because they are designer.

I love the polka dot pattern. Miu Miu shoes in general are not tame or cookie cutter. I like how unique and bold Miu Miu shoes are.

The only minus I can think of is the height. These shoes are 5.5 inches tall. There is a platform in the front of the shoe to balance out the heel..but I'm 5'7" so that means another 5" puts me at 6' when wearing these heels! Wowza!
Running in these heels will be pretty much impossible. Thank goodness I live in LA where I don't walk everywhere.

The shopping gods definitely smiled on me today.....
