REVIEW: Canmake Perfect Styling Eyes #4

Another Japanese product! This time, chosen by me :)

On a layover to Japan, I decided to go out of the terminal and visit some airport shops. Luckily, there was a cosmetic store!

They do sell Canmake in Korea, but I don't buy it because it's usually overpriced.

So what did I think?

Package/Design: As usual, Canmake products are VERY girly! There's pink and swirls and adorableness all around! I like how the makers designed the palette to be both natural style and bright style (make an L shape for bright, and an upside elbow shape for natural). It also comes with a sponge/brush tip applicator! I like how the applicator is double sided. The packaging is plastic, but it feels sturdy! There's also a VERY narrow mirror on the lid.

How to apply! Natural and Bright styles

Formula: The shadows are VERY easy to blend! No fallout, medium pigmentation, and no matte shades. Since the pigmentation is not great, the shadows look incredibly natural!

On the way left vertical: Topping Jewel
Horizontal from top to bottom: Liner, Natural style, Base, Bright style
As you can see from the swatches, the pigmentation isn't strong and you can hardly see some of the shadows. It almost looks just like brown or beige glitter. If you don't like shadows that have strong pigmentation, this palette is not for you! However, if you like shadows that look very natural and like the kawaii glitter look, this palette is pretty awesome for it!

Price: Retail price is about 780yen ($8USD). For 5 small shadows, I think it's a good deal. It's also a very easy palette to use everyday.

Extra: I busted out my Urban Decay Naked palette to compare pigmentation and shimmer. Take a look!

Top: Canmake Base Bottom: UD Virgin
Top: Canmake Bright Style  Bottom: UD Toasted
Top: Canmake liner    Bottom: UD Hustle
Top: UD Sidecar   Middle: Canmake Topping Jewel    Bottom: UD Sin
Top (leftish): Canmake Natural Style   Bottom: UD Sin
It is hard to get accurate color pictures of the Canmake palette because it has SO much shimmer! It kind of reflects off and I get very glittery photos with no real sense of the color.

Pro:
- Easy to blend
- Very natural looking
- Affordable
- Multiple looks possible

Con:
- Not great pigmentation
- Glittery/Shimmery
